Rumbling with a ceaseless river of motor traffic and walking commuters entangled in the bus and subway rush, old Hermannplatz certainly looks like its reputation- a dingy Berlin transfer hub surely prone to a number of unwanted transmissions. Given the obvious impracticality of social distance, the new normal here seems defined by a more exacerbated rush than usual, a renewed will to move out of risk as swift as possible. Flashes of individuality escape from the passing flow, as if whole lives being summarised in the shortest possible story.
